The Adventist University of Central Africa is pleased to announce the 1st International Research Colloquium, with the theme “Keeping Excellence in View”, which will take place from 9 – 11 September 2021.

This colloquium is expected to be an event full of learning about the importance of creating a culture that engages every employee; and how institutions around the world are adapting to the megatrend of the institutional change due to Covid and maintaining quality and excellence. It will be graced by seasoned speakers and researchers from academia, government, private sector and NGOs.

Particularly, this colloquium seeks to disseminate knowledge and share good practices in terms of the following:

  • Introducing various customer elements of customer service for excellent education and how higher learning institutions; sharing of teaching and supervision tools and practices mainly on the pillars including the provision of objective feedback to teachers; diagnose and resolve lecturing problems; help lecturers develop their strategies and skills.
  • Sharing how the global COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live, work, and learn how it required institutional leaders and trainers to work tirelessly to maintain student learning amidst constant changes and uncertainty; determine the relevance of industry-focused quality instruction, monitoring and evaluation for excellence, and networking and collaboration for educational excellence.
